The Blanket for Beccajo’s family

Thanks to everyone who had an input into our wonderful Wooly Hug. Its beautiful, and so big and warm and snuggly and heavy.

There is so much detail in every square, and I keep finding new details that I havn’t seen yet.

The kids & I had a trip to RHS Wisley today, which was one of our special places, we used to go there as a family and have a picnic

Our original thread is here, with some photos of the children with their blanket….

The blanket for cathpip

This afternoon I have taken delivery of the most stunning blanket I have ever seen. My husband has been shocked into silence and believe me that rarely happens! The detail and skill that have gone into each square is amazing, you have summed up my daughter Pippa perfectly in every stitch. Pippas brothers are at this moment watching boomerang in their pjs snuggled underneath it. We as a family are so thankful to everybody who has donated or made squares towards this blanket, the kindness and generosity of so many has left us feeling very humble and quite teary. With kindest wishes Catherine xx
