Woolly Hugs’ Privacy Notice

This just explains how we collect and use the info you give us.

1.The type of personal information we collect and why we have it. We currently collect and use (process) the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details) during our craft sales. 
  • The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to enable us to post our craft sale items. This is all we use it for.
  • We have a legitimate interest to ask for this data
  • We may share this information with Agatha Ball who packs the craft. It is sent to her via encrypted email. This is the ONLY person we may share it with. Once she has used the info it will be destroyed.

2. Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for using (processing)  this information are

  • Your consent. (You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Woolly Hugs on admin@woollyhugs.com or via our social media.)
  • We need it to perform a task.
  • We have a legitimate interest.

3.How we store your personal information 

  • Your information is securely stored, under two step verification.
  • We keep names and addresses for craft sales for the duration of the event and up to but no longer than a month after. We will then dispose your information by securely deleting it.

4.Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 
  • Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 
  • Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 
  • Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 
  • Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
  • You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
