The Woolly Hug for RubbishMantra

I received my woolly hug today. I can’t put into words how much I love it, because words don’t do this beautiful creation justice. It’s not a blanket, it’s a 3 dimensional work of art.

I’ve looked at every single square, and marvelled at them all.

I think I may have mentioned that DH used to make a lot of collages. So to have a big, woolly collage made by you all is the best thing ever.

Thank you also for the lovely cards and sentiments inside them.

It came early this morning, and I took it up to bed with me and had a little snooze, cuddling it.

Heartfelt thanks, love Mantra xxxx

“Thank you so so much, you really do make the world a nicer place to live in, to think you have all volunteered to create a blanket for a complete stranger is amazing, you are all amazing and so thoughtful. My daughter is going to be over the moon when she sees it, and of course each square will tell a story, a different story every night. I really can’t thank you all enough for doing this for us, it means the world. You are all fantastic people with the biggest of hearts. Thank you again. Much love.xxxx”

All I can say is thank you, clearly there has been an immense amount of work, love and thought to producing such an amazing ,…. I’m not even sure what word to use, yes it’s a blanket, but really it’s a beautiful piece of art, just calling it a blanket is an injustice to the clearly huge amount of effort that has been put into making it.

I don’t know how I can put into words now much I appreciate what everyone has done for me.
