“I just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped in the making of my blanket

I met with Edgar, Knotty and my ‘big sis’ Piste yesterday for lunch and wine and the exchange of woolly love and i have to confess I did cry – wouldnt allow Knotty to take a pic till i looked half decent

I am so over whelmed by the sheer love, time and effort that went into making it and last night I slept all snuggled up in it

It is so soft and every square made with love – I love all the squares but especially love the bear with a m on it
words can not express my thanks and appreciation and just doesnt seem enough saying thank you – but thank you”

DD1 picked out a few (I Like That Fishy! I Like That Bu’Fly! OOOH! Piwates!)
I had a very big cry over ‘smiley balloon’ because it is such a nice thought from the little boy that drew it out.
Thank you Orm for the blanket ones, they look like happy animals.

The elephants are very lovely, that purple is great…and all the way from Bangkok ! just imagining the heat of the Bangkok afternoon on two squares heading into the post….
Leo could only just say ‘El’phant’ Meeting an elephant in Bangkok was a lovely experience…and the symbolism is good. Elephants don’t forget

And the wonderful stitched butterfly,    He did love butterflies. DD1 was scared of them for some reason…but she liked that one.

I’ve just sat and looked through my blanket again and I cannot believe all the work that must have gone into it, and all the thoughts, it means such an incredible amount to me. It’s totally gorgeous. The colours are wonderful and the squares are all so beautiful and vibrant. I love every single one of them. There are butterflies, teddies, stars, angel, cat, initials of all the children, flowers, leaves and so many amazing colours; I’m sure I’ll be noticing new things all the time smile

Thank you all so, so much. It is truly wonderful and will get many cuddles. For those that might not know, I’m 30 weeks pregnant today with another little girl so my intention is to use it for her also, which I hope is ok (fingers crossed all going well). I’m due to have her in 6/7 weeks time smile It’s not been an easy time, far from it, so this has come at a most appropriate point for me.

I’ll get some photos taken later on hopefully and upload them as well. I cannot get over how beautiful it is, it feels amazing too, so soft. Thank you all again and thanks to the lovely Ratherbeonthepiste for bringing it to me. xxx”
